Association of Old Edwardians' Executive Committee
History, Aims and Committee Structure
The Association of Old Edwardians' main focus is to help former pupils from King Edward's School to stay in touch with one another and the School. The Association was founded in 1906 by Dr W B Odgers, the first President.
The Aims of the Association are:
To provide opportunities for Old Edwardians to communicate and meet
To support the work of King Edward's School
To provide careers advice and guidance to pupils
The Association of Old Edwardians is formally managed by the Executive Committee which consists of members who have been elected by those present at the Annual General Meeting which is held each year in the Autumn Term. The Executive Committee meets each term at School and is also served by two sub committees – one which arranges the social events, including the Formal Dinners and a Finance Committee which controls the financial affairs.
