Supporting individual pupils through the Bursary Fund
As a charity, the School is committed to continuing its tradition of providing a distinctive and stimulating learning environment for bright and talented children from all backgrounds. Any surplus from fees is reinvested into the School in order to maintain high quality teaching, offer excellent facilities and learning opportunities, as well as to provide bursaries.
Each year we support families whose children would clearly benefit enormously from a King Edward's education, but who would not be able to attend the School without the financial assistance of a bursary. Yet each year we receive more requests for bursaries than we are able to support.
Although the School does not have the benefit of an endowment, we are committed to continuing to provide bursaries which give individual pupils life-changing opportunities. We are very grateful to those donors who give towards the Bursary Fund, recognising the difference that this will make to many able children who also help to make King Edward's School the thriving and vibrant community that it remains today.
By giving towards the Bursary Fund, you will be making a difference to a child’s future and being part of a philanthropic tradition that reaches back over 450 years.
