Ahead of next term there is much to look forward to over the Summer, as many within our community join KES trips abroad; indeed our intrepid group of trekkers have already left for Ladakh, in the Himalayas, and have begun their trek through the mountains and valleys in the region, reaching heights of 5,100m above sea level as they do so.  Elsewhere 60 of our sportsmen and women will shortly head off on a tour to South Africa. In addition to the planned schedule of sporting fixtures, there is significant time set aside for them to explore the stunning geography and wildlife of the country, as well as gain a greater understanding of South Africa's cultural heritage.  Visits to Robben Island, the District Six Museum, Kruger National Park and the Langa township are among their destinations.

Finally, I should like to thank you all for all your support on so many fronts this year and to wish you a wonderful Summer.

        With best wishes
