Speak Out Finals
Speaking in public can be a daunting prospect at any age but you wouldn't have thought so watching King Edward's Junior School pupils at the Speak Out finals. The children delivered with great confidence and lashings of enthusiasm. Each year group had a different category; Year 3 prose reading, Year 4 performing an excerpt from Romeo and Juliet, Year 5 reciting a poem from memory and Year 6 performed a radio script.
All the performers managed to engage with the audience and convey the drama of the piece. Congratulations to all those who took part.
