King Edward's School BATH

Teaching staff

Class teachers are supported by teaching assistants and we aim to maintain a ratio of eight children to one adult in the Nursery and nine children to one adult in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

Combining experience and enthusiasm, our teachers inspire a love of learning. Small class sizes ensure your son or daughter’s needs are rapidly identified and their ideas and interests are incorporated into class projects and activities.

Specialist teachers

All children from Nursery upwards enjoy weekly specialist teaching in Sport, French and Music. Designed to make learning fun, classes take an age appropriate stance. For example French is taught in the Nursery through puppets, songs, rhymes and the use of ICT. Visitors, including artists and authors, also work with specific year groups to develop new skills and techniques.
