King Edward's School BATH

ICT is one of the core components of our curriculum. It is taught both discretely and across all subjects. Interactive technology helps to make learning more engaging and memorable.

Here at the Pre-Prep we are fortunate to have a dedicated IT room, as well as multiple iPads that are used in and outside the classroom to enhance teaching and learning. iPads are also used as a means of recording observations and taking photographs.

Interactive Learning Diary

We use the Interactive Learning Diary (ILD) in the Early Years to record observations, assessments and learning journeys within a child's diary, while capturing evidence and assessing progress against the Early Years development statements. Parents are provided with a unique password to view the information taken against the seven areas of learning. We encourage parents to contribute observations and photographs from home so that we can work in close partnership together.

ICT is used imaginatively to foster a range of skills.
