Best-selling teen novelist Joanna Nadin launches KES Short Story competition
Novelist and best-selling author of teen fiction, Joanna Nadin, launched the KES Short Story Competition this week when she visited King Edward’s to share her advice on writing novels with pupils. Joanna Nadin, who was shortlisted for the Queen of Teen literary awards last year, alongside Jacqueline Wilson, Cathy Cassidy and Louise Rennison, had plenty of ideas to help pupils develop their writing. Joanna was also very keen to encourage pupils to use the opportunity of the KES Short Story Competition to start writing. Theme: Friends and Family
KES Short Story Competition
The short story can take any aspect of friends and/or family as its starting point.
Stories should be handed in no later than Friday 23rd April to Mrs Bruton or other member of the English Department.
