Guidelines for selling items at a Nearly New Sale

What to do

  • .

All items for sale must be current uniform, clean and in good condition.

  •

All items must be labelled with the size, name of the person to be paid & home address. If individual items are not labelled we will consider it a donation to the school – thank you.

  •

The Committee set the prices, so that a reasonable consistency can be achieved.

  •

During the week prior to the sale, items for sale should be left in the red boxes labelled “Nearly New”: one is located outside Lost Property in the Senior School and the other is in the Junior School entrance

  •

60% of the money from any items sold is returned directly to you. Cheques are sent via the Royal Mail for payments over £5 at the end of the school year. 40% goes to the school.

  •

You may of course donate items, in which case, thank you for your generosity.

  •

Any items not in an acceptable condition, or not sold after a reasonable period, are donated to a charity shop.
