Sporting dinner Thursday 15th May
|
The Fathers' Committee are organising a sporting three course dinner with the kind assistance of David Trick, Events organiser, in the Willett Hall.
Speakers
Scott Quinnell
As the son of Wales & British Lions great Derek Quinnell and nephew of legendary fly-half Barry John, former Wales captain Scott Quinnell has an immaculate rugby pedigree. At 64 and 19+ stone he is an imposing figure both on and off the field. He represented Wales & the Lions in rugby union, and also Wigan & Wales in rugby league. Scott is an extremely entertaining speaker who seems to find time to speak to everyone during the evening. Even people who do not have a great interest in rugby have thoroughly enjoyed what he has to say about his time in the game. One of the best rugby speakers I have heard in years - David Trick
Gary Marshall
Gary is one of the best comedians in the UK today, constantly updating and refining his material. He was voted comedian of the Year in 1999, a title he could have won in any subsequent years, luckily for other comics you are only allowed to win it once!
There are only 12 tables of 10 available so do book early to avoid disappointment Tickets cost £40 available from Mike Rowe, Tel 07841 035930, Email: Rowe3@blueyonder.co.uk
