This was the 9th year of the Mothers and Daughters netball tournament. Over 120 mums and daughters from the Senior, Junior and Pre-Prep & Nursery, along with budding supporters, turned out for the event in sunny, but cold conditions. There were some closely contested matches, but the spirit of fun and fair play was maintained throughout.
The girls’ were once again able to learn from one another, with girls from Year 8 through to Year 13 being mixed together to create the teams. In total, there were 5 girls teams and 5 mothers’ teams.
In the first round, all of the matches were against the same age group, but in the final rounds, all of the matches were between girls v mothers. These matches did not disappoint and were enjoyed by all involved.
