Our award winning, purpose-built Junior School on the same North Road site as King Edward's Senior School is extremely well equipped for learning, with dedicated specialist teaching rooms for Science, Art, Design Technology and Music and a state of the art ICT Suite and Technology Centre, all housed around the lovely central library.
The School includes a large multipurpose hall and dining room. Externally, the Junior School has its own adventure playground and trail, pond, wildflower garden and raised beds and greenhouses, along with a multisport play area, as well as access to the Meadow, a delightful and spacious area with beautiful views over Bath, where the children can play with friends or just sit and chat.
Whilst outside, the children also make use of our ‘run a mile’ course to encourage healthy lifestyle habits, as well as the den building and bug hotel areas. Outdoor versions of games such as Jenga and Connect Four are further popular playtime options.
Junior School pupils enjoy many of the outstanding Senior School facilities; productions for music and drama are staged in the Wroughton Theatre, and children enjoy full use of the all-weather pitches, as well as the extensive playing fields located in nearby Bathampton.
Take a tour of the School in the company of our two Year 6 guides, Eleanor and Arty.
