Congratulations to all those selected for the 2025/26 Bath Rugby Academy pathway, from U15 Player Development Group (PDG) to representation in the Bath Academy U18 squad and participation in the PREM Next Gen academy U18 league.

Reflecting on the rugby set up at King Edward’s School, Bath, Sean Lilley, Head of Rugby, said:
“The Rugby programme at KES is grounded in the core values that define our school: striving to be the best version of yourself, growing together through shared experiences, exploring new challenges, and aiming high while remaining humble. On the pitch, we encourage our players to lead with integrity, think creatively, and perform under pressure. Above all, we support them in becoming exceptional individuals beyond the game. Our vision is to establish the leading independent school rugby development environment in the South West of England, where excellence is nurtured through character, commitment, and community.”

Craig Lilley, Head of Academy at Bath Rugby, added:
“At Bath Rugby we are extremely proud of the partnership we have developed with King Edward’s School. The relationship provides a fantastic environment for young players to grow, with KES offering outstanding coaching and a culture that mirrors the values we promote within our Academy. Working closely with their staff allows us to share best practice and ensure that players are supported both on and off the pitch. It’s no surprise to see a strong group of KES players progressing through our pathway and we’re excited to see what the future holds. We look forward to continuing this positive and productive connection for many years to come.”
