KES BATH FIREWORKS DISPLAY 2026
Join us as we light up the skies over Bathampton with a spectacular fireworks display on Saturday 7th November 2026.
This community event, hosted by King Edward's School, Bath, is open to families and visitors from Bath and the surrounding area. Returning again this year, Northern Lights Fireworks will be presenting a traditional display featuring a wide range of fireworks, choreographed to music.
Event Schedule
- 5:15pm - Gates open (hot food, snacks and drinks available to purchase before the display)
- 6:45pm - Fireworks display begins (timings may be subject to slight delays due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances)

This is a cashless event, card payments only

Every ticket includes a FREE hot dog on entry (vegetarian option available). A token will be provided on arrival and can be redeemed at the hot food tent

Additional refreshments will be available to purchase throughout the evening, including where possible, locally sourced alcoholic drinks, hot and soft drinks, cakes, sweets and other sweet treats. Novelty flashing toys will also be on sale throughout the event

Sparklers are not permitted on the event field, so please leave these at home

All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and remain under the supervision of their parent or guardian throughout the event

Please note that this is a traditional fireworks display. If you or your child are sensitive to noise, we recommend bringing suitable ear defenders

To help minimise disruption to local residents, we kindly ask visitors not to park on surrounding residential streets

We are able to offer a limited number of parking spaces at Bathampton Playing Fields. These spaces must be purchased alongside your event ticket. Visitors requiring accessible parking should select this option during checkout so that sufficient spaces can be reserved

Free Coach Shuttle Service
A free coach shuttle service will operate between King Edward's School, North Road, Bath, BA2 6HU and the Fireworks Display at Bathampton Playing Fields. The service includes both drop-off and pick-up. Guests with a shuttle ticket will be able to board a coach at King Edward's School and return to the North Road site at the end of the Fireworks Display.

Free parking is available at the North Road site before departure. Coaches will drop passengers at Down Lane Bottom Bus Stop, BA2 6UF, approximately a 4-minute walk from the event site. Return coaches will depart from the KES Playing Fields, Bathampton car park and return to King Edward's School.
Please arrive on time for your booked coach, as subsequent coaches may be at full capacity.

Safeguarding & Child Supervision
King Edward's School is committed to providing a safe environment for everyone attending our Bonfire Night event. Parents and guardians remain responsible for the supervision, safety and behaviour of any child under the age of 18 at all times whilst attending the event. Children must not be left unattended anywhere on site and should remain with their parent, guardian or responsible adult throughout the event. A designated Lost Child Point, first aid provision and trained event staff will be available during the event. If you become separated from your child, or have any welfare concerns, please speak to a steward immediately.
Reporting a Safeguarding Concern
If a safeguarding concern arises during the event, it should be reported immediately to a member of event staff, who will notify the school's Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or Deputy DSL. Any safeguarding concern disclosed or identified after the event and relating to the event should be reported to the school as soon as possible via the school's safeguarding procedures.
Expected Behaviour
All attendees are expected to behave responsibly and follow instructions from event staff and stewards. Anyone acting in a manner that compromises the safety or welfare of others may be asked to leave the event
