This week on KES Publica, our acclaimed Classics podcast, we were honoured to welcome special guest, renowned academic, Professor Denis Feeney, Professor of Classics, Emeritus at Princeton University and a staple on university reading lists worldwide, to discuss Roman religion.

In this special episode Professor Feeney joined our hosts, Mr Burns and Mr Peter Feene,y to share his thoughts on what was distinctive about Roman religion, starting with the small city state in Latium and ending with the Mediterranean empire facing the baffling phenomenon of early Christianity.

Professor Feeney undertook his first degree at Auckland University in New Zealand, before going on to Oxford for his D.Phil. His teaching career took him to Bristol, Cambridge, Edinburgh and Oxford, among others, and finally to Princeton in 2000.
