ambitious futures inspired by those who have gone before
Recent Old Edwardians returned to KES to share their experiences of university, degree apprenticeships and vocational training, helping Year 13 pupils explore the many pathways available after Sixth Form.
It was wonderful to welcome recent Old Edwardians back to KES today to share their experiences with our Year 13 pupils as they prepare for life beyond Sixth Form.
From Oxford, St Andrews, Durham, Warwick and Edinburgh, to degree apprenticeships with Astra Zeneca and specialist vocational training providers, our alumni are pursuing an incredible range of pathways and passions.
Medicine, law, languages (medieval and modern), classics, archaeology, engineering, furniture design, art foundation, professional dance and musical theatre were just some of the subjects represented, giving pupils a real insight into the many directions a KES education can lead.
Hearing first-hand about university life, apprenticeships, applications and life after KES helped our Year 13 cohort explore the opportunities ahead and take inspiration from those who were sitting in the same classrooms only a few years ago.
Our grateful thanks to our OEs for giving so generously of their time and experiences.
