EASTER REVISION COURSE
Our GCSE and A Level four-day Easter Revision Programme, which has been designed specifically for pupils in Year 11 and Year 13, however, this year we are also launching courses aimed at Year 10 GCSE pupils and Year 12 A Level pupils. The course will run every day from Tuesday 7th - Friday 10th April 2026, with pupils attending daily (full-day - 2 subject sessions or half-day - 1 subject session), focused specifically on GCSE and A Level exam success. All courses will be based at our Senior School campus on North Road.
Our professional teaching staff will be able to offer individual guidance and support, focusing on those demanding topics and difficult subject material throughout this revision period.
Our Easter revision Courses are open to all pupils, you do not have to attend King Edward's in order to book a place.
TOUCH TYPE COURSE
King Edward’s School Touch Typing Easter course requires pupils to commit to spending 4 hours a day sat at a pc, for 4 days. Each hour will be interspersed with an opportunity to go outside to get some fresh air and exercise. Learning to touch type in this intensive way is proven to be far more effective than spasmodic attempts to conquer the skill. Teachers will be on hand to guide, monitor and support the pupils for the entirety of the course. The Typequick Skill Evaluator will be administered at the start of the course. This is a quick, efficient, and convenient method of benchmarking keyboard skills before and after training. We offer two courses that will run concurrently, and we will need you to indicate on the application form which of the courses your child would prefer to do:
- COURSE OPTION 1: Typequick for Students (11-14 years)
- COURSE OPTION 2: Typequick Professional (12+ years)
