We wish to appoint a Kitchen Porter/Catering Assistant wo work in our friendly Catering Department.

We offer a competitive hourly rate and a very generous holiday retention allowance.  You will receive full training and a uniform will be provided along with a free lunch and refreshments.  
 

Under the direction of our Catering Manager, you will assist with the preparation of school lunches, breaks, games teas, special functions etc and the role will involve cooking, serving, washing up, cleaning and disposal of waste.

The successful candidate will be provided a full induction, supportive line management and appropriate training. Refreshments and lunch are all provided free. This role will be worked Monday to Friday 7.30am until 2.30pm with a half hour unpaid break. These core hours are worked during term time (36 weeks per year).  However, additional hours are required in the evenings and weekend, which are paid at an overtime rate.
