King Edward’s School, Bath, is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and organised administrator to join our dynamic PE & Sport Department. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting our thriving sports programme and cocurricular activities at one of the region’s leading independent schools.

The position will be based in our Senior School and the expected hours of work will be from 8.30am until 4.30pm (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday.  This role will have a daily half hour unpaid lunch break and the contract will be for 38 weeks per year (term time plus 2 weeks).

About the Role
You will provide essential administrative support to the PE & Sport Department and the wider co-curricular programme, ensuring the smooth running of all sporting activities and events. Key responsibilities include:
•    Co-ordinating bookings for coaches, pitches, and facilities, and producing weekly schedules for staff.
•    Acting as the first point of contact for parental enquiries.
•    Supporting the department with the SOCs platform and monitoring invoicing for coaches and facility hire.
•    Collating registers for Games and After School clubs, and managing kit logistics and sanctions.
•    Organising major sporting events such as Sports Day, Sports Dinner, trips, tournaments, and tours, including liaison with external companies.
•    Arranging mouthguard fittings and overseeing billing and distribution.
•    Managing prizes, trophies, and end-of-season awards.
•    Supporting school marketing events and open days.
•    Assisting with co-curricular administration, including trip and visit logistics, medical and dietary information, and activities week.

We are looking for someone who is:

•    Adaptable, proactive, and self-motivated.
•    Discreet, with a strong understanding of confidentiality.
•    Excellent in verbal and written communication.
•    Keen to develop professionally and passionate about sport and physical activity.
