Applications are invited from energetic and well-qualified university graduates or teachers seeking to be part of a dynamic and well-resourced science department which teaches the subject from Year 7 up to A-level.
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Biology teacher to join the school. This post is flexible to suit the abilities of the successful applicant, but part time would need to be at least 0.6. As a popular subject at A-level, science continues to be a source of pride of King Edward’s School and a subject which sees pupils flourish at all levels.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will be able to teach across the whole age and ability range, including A-level Biology.
The post would suit either an experienced teacher with a proven record of successful results, or equally an ECT, for whom a full support and induction programme will be available. We are an inclusive school and welcome applications from people of all beliefs and backgrounds.
