We are delighted to announce that we’ve invested in the The Wellbeing Hub. Supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our parents, pupils, and staff is a top priority for us here at KES and we are delighted to be able to draw on the resources that have been created by mental health and wellbeing experts to build on the existing support already in place for our pupils.

As many universities start back this weekend our recent leavers and gap year students are heading to some of the UK’s leading universities, with over 90% securing places at their first choice Higher Education institution. Over 50% of students are taking up places at the UK’s top 20 universities* with 70% heading to Russell Group universities.

Year 11 celebrate outstanding GCSE results with 38% of entries at the top 9 grade, 66% at 9/8 and 84% of entries at grade 9-7.

A Level Results 2024
Many congratulations to all Year 13 pupils at King Edward's who collected their A Level results today and who have once again done themselves immensely proud. 29% of all grades were at A*, our second highest ever and more than three times the national average, with 61% at A*/A and 81% at A*-B.

What a busy half term this has been for KES Charities. We had a parachute jump, a sponsored walk, cake and doughnut sales, a non-uniform day, a book launch, craft stalls, a Foodbank collection, and a plant sale.

Year 11 Celebrate Superb GCSE Results Across The Year Group
Year 11 pupils have today been celebrating some superb GCSE results, with almost 40% at the top 9 grade and nearly two thirds at grade 9 or 8. 84% of grades were at 9-7, well above KES’ already historically high pre-Covid average.

King Edward’s pupils celebrate impressive A-Level results
Year 13 pupils at King Edward’s have today been celebrating some wonderful and well-deserved A-Level results. The well-documented return to pre-pandemic grading levels saw similar numbers of top grades awarded nationally to 2019, making KES pupils’ successes even more impressive.
