Starting in April 2023, King Edward’s School, Bath will offer Easter revision courses for GCSE and A Levels students preparing to take external exams next summer.

As one of the top performing schools in the South West, King Edward’s is well-placed to offer a tailored revision programme, allowing pupils from across the local area to benefit from the School’s excellent standards of teaching and support, underpinned by consistently outstanding GCSE and A Level exam results.  The revision courses will take place between 3rd – 6th April 2023, during a period which is a key focus for most pupils’ exam preparation and revision.

The KES revision programme has been specifically designed to offer constructive, friendly and tailored support for pupils beginning their exam revision. The courses will be delivered by KES subject specialist teachers, many of whom have Head of Department or Examiner experience.  A Level and GCSE students can choose up to 2 subjects to study over the course of the 4-day programme, which will take place at the School’s well-equipped Senior School campus on North Road, Bath.

Each subject course will run either as a morning (9-12 noon) or afternoon (12.30-3.30pm) session and will be limited to small class sizes to ensure that teachers can provide personalised 1:1 advice and tutoring. During designated breaks, participants will be able to enjoy the School’s contemporary Sixth Form Centre, with drinks and a light lunch available to buy from the conveniently located Sixth Form café.

Commenting on the new programme offered by King Edward’s, Lucy Miners, the Easter Revision Lead at KES, said: “Using their wealth of professional experience, our friendly and approachable teachers will be able to support students’ individual revision needs as well as allocate specific time for exam technique and practice. At the end of the revision programme, every pupil will also receive a report based on assessments carried out throughout the course, offering advice to both pupils and parents regarding the next revision steps ahead of sitting final exams in the summer.”
